Karl Sakas headshot photoHi, I'm Karl Sakas. I want to help you make more money, so you can preserve history and keep the trains running. I've helped small businesses and non-profits save time and make more money since 1998. I now work with heritage rail organizations throughout North America. Yes, I'm a life-long railfan...but my passion is helping heritage rail businesses and non-profits improve the business side of their operations.

I have the hands-on heritage rail experience and the educational background to help you succeed. As a trustee and volunteer at the Whippany Railway Museum, I do marketing, customer service, and restoration projects. I also work as a steward and marketer on the Dover Harbor, the Washington D.C. NRHS chapter's Pullman sleeper-lounge-buffet private railcar.

I am a second generation railroad consultant — in the 1950s, my grandfather advised the Chesapeake & Ohio, New York Central, and other companies on how to work more cooperatively with labor unions.

I graduated magna cum laude from the College of William & Mary in Virginia, where I received a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) in Operations & Information Systems and minored in History. Beyond my formal educational background, I read several dozen articles and blogs each week to stay up to date for my clients.

Let's keep the trains running — I look forward to working with you soon!
